Introductory Seminar on Direct Marketing Regime

Organisations may collect personal data through mobile app for promoting their products and services. In Hong Kong, the use of personal data in direct marketing activities is governed by the Ordinance. The new provisions under the Ordinance impose tighter regulation on the use and provision of personal data in direct marketing.

Recently, two companies were convicted and fined of failure to comply with the requirements of the new direct marketing regime. This seminar will provide participants with an understanding of legal requirements of new direct marketing.
