Reaching Out to University - Hong Kong International Data Privacy Academy Shares Fraud Prevention Tips with Students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University
The Hong Kong International Data Privacy Academy (Academy) shared anti-scam messages at the Orientation Information Session for postgraduate students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University earlier (on 18 August), which was attended by about 950 students.
Under the theme of “Beware of Scam – Protect Your Personal Data”, Manager (Corporate Communications) of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Mr Dicky LI, introduced emerging scam trends in the era of artificial intelligence to students and provided practical tips on fraud prevention and personal data protection.
In addition, the Academy set up an exhibition booth on the campus during the orientation period to disseminate anti-scam and personal data protection information to all students.
