Reaching Out to the Community – Assistant Privacy Commissioner Speaks at an AI Workshop

The Assistant Privacy Commissioner for personal Data (Compliance, Global Affairs and Research), Mr Alex CHAN Chung-man, attended an artificial intelligence (AI) workshop organised by the Scout Association of Hong Kong on 30 May and delivered a speech.

At the workshop, the Assistant Privacy Commissioner gave an overview of AI-related scams and the privacy risks associated with the use of AI. He shared with participants the recommendations set out in “Protect Your Personal Data – Be Smart on Social Media” and “Protect Your Personal Data – Smart Use of Smartphones” issued earlier by the PCPD. The Assistant Privacy Commissioner also introduced the PCPD’s “Data Security” package to the participants.
