Reaching Out to Accounting Professionals – Privacy Commissioner Attends HKICPA Annual Dinner 2025
The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the Annual Dinner 2025 hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) on 7 November and met with members of the accounting profession. The theme of the Annual Dinner was “Sustainable Impact, Enduring Value”.
The HKICPA is one of the key stakeholders of the Privacy Commissioner’s Office. The Privacy Commissioner has published articles in A Plus, the official magazine of the HKICPA, from time to time, discussing topical issues such as the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence brings to the accounting profession.
