Enhancing Cybersecurity – PCPD Representative Attends “BugHunting Campaign 2025” Awards Gala

Acting Chief Personal Data Officer (Compliance and Enquiries) of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), Mr John LO, attended the Awards Gala of the “BugHunting Campaign 2025” (the Campaign) on 3 October to present awards and share the latest trends in data breach incidents.
 
The PCPD is the Strategic Partner of the Campaign, which is co-organised by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force and Cyberbay. The Campaign this year employs artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist participating organisations to identify vulnerabilities within their corporate systems, and to conduct security audits on their AI applications to prevent data breaches. The Campaign attracted a total of 185 participating organisations.
