Telling a Good Hong Kong Story – Privacy Commissioner’s Office Receives Delegation of Mainland Legal Officials

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) received a delegation of Mainland legal officials on 5 June. During the meeting with Mainland officials, representatives of the PCPD introduced Hong Kong’s personal data protection laws, the PCPD’s role, functions, and ongoing efforts in protecting personal data privacy. The delegation comprised 21 Mainland officials currently enrolled in the Master of Laws programme in Common Law at the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong under the Training Scheme in Common Law for Mainland Legal Officials organised by the Department of Justice.
