Reaching Out to Legal Professionals – Privacy Commissioner Attends the 2024 Pro Bono and Community Service Award Presentation Ceremony

The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the 2024 Pro Bono and Community Service Award Presentation Ceremony of the Law Society of Hong Kong on 9 December and presented prizes at the ceremony.

The Law Society has been organising the Pro Bono and Community Work Recognition Programme (Programme) since 2010. The key objectives of the Programme are to promote public awareness of the pro bono work performed by members of the Law Society, trainee solicitors, registered foreign lawyers and university law students, and to recognise their pro bono efforts and contributions to the society. The Privacy Commissioner is a member of the judging panel for Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award (for individual/law firm) this year.
