Reaching Out to Legal Professionals - The Privacy Commissioner Attends Celebration of the 2nd Anniversary of the Establishment of AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre
The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the celebration of the 2
nd anniversary of the establishment of Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre on 5 June.
The AALCO is the only inter-governmental legal consultative organisation in the Asia-African region, covering almost all major countries in Asia and Africa. The arbitration centre in Hong Kong serves as a co-ordinating agency for the dispute resolution system of the AALCO, aiming to promote the development and effective operation of arbitration institutions and other alternative dispute resolution services.
