Monitoring Compliance Matching Procedures During the reporting year, the PCPD received 5 new applications for approval to carry out matching procedures and 28 requests for re-approval to continue matching procedures approved in previous years. All these five new applications were requested by public sector organizations. Upon examination, one application was found to pertain to a matching procedure which has already been approved and therefore a separate consent is not required whereas another one was found not to be a matching procedure as defined under the PD(P)O. In respect of the other 3 applications, they were approved subject to certain conditions.
