PCPD 2005-2006 Annual Report

About the PCPD [image] Personal Data (Privacy) Advisory Committee Section 11(1) of the Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Personal Data (Privacy) Advisory Committee to advise the Privacy Commissioner on matters relevant to the privacy of individuals in relation to personal data or other matters relevant to the implementation of the Ordinance. The Secretary for Home Affairs appoints the Members of the Personal Data (Privacy) Advisory Committee which is chaired by the Privacy Commissioner. [image] [image] In October 2005, the Secretary for Home Affairs appointed the following persons to be members of the Committee for a period of two years with effect from 1 October 2005. At the twentieth-first meeting of the Committee, held on 5th August 2005, members were informed on the youth promotional activities targeting the young generation for their better awareness and understanding on personal data privacy.
