Privacy Guidelines: Monitoring and Personal Data Privacy at Work
The PCPD has issued the "Privacy Guidelines: Monitoring and Personal Data Privacy at Work" ("the Guidelines") with the objective to promote personal data privacy at work where employees monitoring is undertaken resulting in the collection of personal data of employees. The Guidelines offer guidance to employers on the application of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance as well as proper standards of personal data management in the context of employee monitoring.
