Privacy Commissioner Attends the 5th Anniversary Forum of the Promulgation and Implementation of Hong Kong National Security Law

The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the 5th Anniversary Forum of the Promulgation and Implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law on 21 June to further learn and understand the effect and significance of the promulgation and implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for the past five years. 
 
Incidentally, cybersecurity, data security and artificial intelligence security are the key components of national security. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data will continue to strengthen relevant publicity, education and enforcement efforts to enhance public awareness of privacy protection and national security.
