Reaching Out to Enterprise – Privacy Commissioner Visits Huawei Shenzhen Headquarters and Dongguan Base Camp
The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, and representatives of her Office, visited the Headquarters of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen and its Dongguan Base Camp on 4 June to understand Huawei’s latest technological innovations, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud storage, as well as their cybersecurity and privacy protection governance policies.
During the visit, the Privacy Commissioner met with Mr Ambrose TANG, the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Cyber Security and Privacy Officer of Huawei (Hong Kong) and other representatives of Huawei to discuss the latest technological developments in the Mainland, including that of Huawei Cloud.
