liaison
To
maintain a high level of transparency and accountability, the PCPD has
adopted a proactive and co-operative approach in media relations. In 2003-04,
the PCPD held two press briefings to release the revised Code of Practice
on Consumer Credit Data and the consultation report on the "Draft
Code of Practice on Monitoring and Personal Data Privacy at Work".
In addition, the PCPD issued six press releases and responded to almost
one thousand media enquiries. Besides, the Privacy Commissioner gave a
significant number of interviews to the media, including 28 to the electronic
media.
