This survey was conducted by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM), in co-operation with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), during August and September 2004. The objective is to get a better understanding of current policies and practices as regards workplace surveillance as adopted by companies in Hong Kong, and arouse corporate awareness of the need for compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance as regards workplace surveillance.
